Properties:
Hawthorn Tincture (Crataegus Oxyacantha) comes from the treatment of the homonymous plant which thrives in Europe, Asia and North America.
In modern herbal medicine, the dried leaves and flowers of Hawthorn (always in combination) are mainly used to treat heart and circulatory problems. Although Dioskouridis was the first to notice the usefulness of Hawthorn in the treatment of heart diseases, many clinical studies that have been carried out in recent years confirm the properties of the herb. Hawthorn consumption widens both the coronary and peripheral arteries, resulting in significantly improved blood circulation to the heart. At the same time, the procyanidins (mainly catechin and epicatechin) contained in the Hawthorn leaves slow down the heartbeat. From clinical research studies, it appears that patients in the second stage of heart failure (NYHA stage II) who were given an infusion of leaves and flowers of Krataigo, noticed a significant reduction in rapid heartbeat, fatigue and shortness of breath. Krataigos is generally considered valuable in reducing high blood pressure, treating angina and cardiac arrhythmia, arterial spasms (Reynaud’s disease) as well as treating heart valve disease.
What is Tincture:
The tincture is created by steeping herbs in an alcoholic solution (grapa), usually over a period of a few weeks. During this, the active ingredients of the herbs dissolve in the alcoholic solution. This specific process results in the tincture retaining all the beneficial properties of the herbs to the fullest.

Dosage:
15-20 drops in water twice a day for a month. Take a break for ten days and repeat. Shake before use.
