Polishing System with Kölner Instacoll and activator

We dilute the Kölner Instacoll with a minimum of deionized water, if the temperature is lower than 15°C.

At temperatures of 15-25 degrees Celsius, no dilution is needed.

Above 25 degrees Celsius, we avoid work.

We prepare the surface, cleaning it very well of dust and insulate it twice with gomalaka, so that the pores are covered and it becomes smooth.

Then we mix the contents of the Kölner Instacoll and with our brush (synthetic) we spread it nicely and richly over the surface.

The pass should be “rich”, so that the “brushes” are not erased

Usually at a normal temperature of 20 degrees Celsius after 1 hour we gild, although they suggest 3 hours.

If it dries, apply the Activator with a synthetic brush, and after it dries for 5-10 minutes, gild.

The result is a much shinier gilding, on the verge of being completely polished.

The activator can also activate glue after many months
